Beanbags Childminding has experience in working with other agencies, such as speech and language therapists, Liverpool Children's Deaf Services, social services, local SENCOs (special educational needs co-ordinators), and EAL tutors (English as Additional Language). We also have experience with EHAT referrals.
Throughout our time as childminders we have cared for children and worked with families that are also working with the social services due to their circumstances and background. Over the years we have worked with a variety of EAL children and their families and continue to do so. These include Polish, Slovakian and Spanish children. We have experience in working with children from different religious and cultural backgrounds including Islam, Christianity and Judaism, embrace their beliefs and incorporating their practices into the setting.
We are well-known in Liverpool for being able to work with both parents and children with special needs, including ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) and hearing loss.
As a small setting we can offer close care and support to all children and families.
